An evening of Love: we were there
Kelly Khumalo blew the crowd away with a surprise duet performance with Vusi Nova.
Tebogo Louw from idols 2016 opened the show with his renditions of several different Bruno Mars tracks, and was followed by Thami Shobede who serenaded the crowd with his single ‘Sthandwa’ amongst other songs.
But it was Bongani the saxophonist who stole the audience’s hearts. He took us to Jazz, Kwaito, R&B and back to Jazz, again, while we sang the lyrics out loud.
Ntando still has it y’all – the voice and the dance moves. Although he performed a few songs from his latest album, the crowd went crazy when he sang his old tracks.
Kelly Khumalo who plays Sunay on Rhythm City, wowed us when she joined Vusi Nova on stage with what seemed like an impromptu duet. She was dragged onto the stage by the flamboyant Somizi.
As per usual, Nathi did his thing and had all the ladies singing in tongues.
The event was hosted by Metro FM DJ, Siphokazi January. It was truly an evening of love with fantastic local performances.
